Ontario Champions!

It was a great weekend of racing at the OCup – Ontario Championships on Mooney’s Bay in Ottawa, ON.  17 clubs from across Ontario competed in the two-day event.

The Rideau Canoe Club won the Grand Champion burgee with 1283 points.  Mississauga was 2nd with 640 points and Carleton Place was 3rd with 432 points.
Congratulations to all athletes and coaches!

Rideau Paddlers competing at the ICF Senior World Championships

Rideau athletes Natalie Davison and Maddy Schmidt are ready to compete at the ICF Senior World Championships  in Szeged, Hungary. Their racing starts on Wednesday with Maddy competing in the K1W 500m and Natalie in the K2W 500m and the K4W 500m.

2019 CKC Sprint National Championships

Next week in Regina, SK, clubs from across the country will gather on Lake Wascana to compete at the 2019 Canoe Kayak Canada Sprint National Championships.

Fifty six Rideau paddlers will be defending the Canadian Championships burgee won last year in Sherbrooke, QC.
