Thank You Volunteers!

Last weekend we had Rideau paddlers of all ages, from U10 to Masters, competing at different regattas. The U14 program went to Gananoque for the first formal competition for many of them. The U16+ and Masters paddlers gathered at the club for the Rideau Regatta on Sunday. Great weather and the tireless work of many volunteers resulted in a great regatta! Thank you volunteers, congratulations athletes and coaches!
The next couple of weekends the regattas will be at Carleton Place and North Bay with the next regatta at the club, the Eastern Ontario Division Qualifiers, on July 27 and 28.

Volunteering at EOD Sponsored Regattas

There are 3 EOD Sponsored regattas on the schedule and the EOD Volunteer Policy requires each club to meet a quota of volunteers to avoid being fined.  The numbers are based on athlete participation at this regatta during the previous season, or the last time it was hosted by EOD.  Volunteers from the EOD clubs have started to signup on ivolunteer so please signup early to ensure that Rideau is able to meet our quota.  Ivolunteer links are provided below. If you have any questions about the policy or how you can help please email
