Canada Cup - Canada Day International Regatta

The Saturday and Sunday before Canada Day the Rideau Canoe Club will be hosting the CKC Canada Cup - Canada Day International Regatta. We have crews from as far as Argentina, USA and Madagascar confirmed to be here to compete against Team Ontario athletes and athletes of clubs from Quebec, Eastern and Western Ontario, and British Columbia.
This regatta is no different and requires a lot of volunteers to run successfully. If you can help on Saturday June 29 or Sunday June 30 in the morning or the afternoon please contact our volunteer coordinator Kerry Fagan at volunteer@rideaucanoeclub.ca or check the event's iVolunteer page.

Tim Horton's Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival - Calling Volunteers

Rideau Canoe Club events require the work of many volunteers for them to be successful. Charles Slade has been running the Tim Horton's Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival for many years thanks to the assistance of many volunteers. We are still looking for boat drivers and safety boat spotters. If you can spare a few hours on Saturday or Sunday morning (7 am to 12 pm) or afternoon (12 pm to 5 pm) it will be a great help! Contact Charles at charlesslade@rogers.com to make yourself available.
