APRIL 2017

This month we focus on Queensland.

Our thoughts are firstly with our members and networks living in North Queensland affected by Cyclone Debbie. We hope you stay safe.

In the coming months NAVA is presenting two events in Queensland. In April in Toowoomba there will be a discussion on The Artist as Culture Producer led by Sharon Louden, artist, educatior and and advocate for the arts, in partnership with RAYGUN Projects. In May a public forum on Contemporary Curating - The Gig Economy presented by NAVA, Griffith University and QUT, supported by ACUADS will also be held. See below for event details. If you missed our previous Queensland NAVA Salon Sessions which focused on issues affecting Queensland artists, these are now available as podcasts here

NAVA warmly welcomes Sophie Chapman as its new Queensland Program Co-ordinator. We hope you'll welcome her when you see her at future events.
