This Week at the Market....

PLYMOUTH POND FARM & BAKERY

Steve says - "I will have Hot Cross Buns, Challah, and Easter Stollen this week at Market."

Folks, trust me you'll want to get there early on Friday for some of these - soooo good!
APPLETON CREAMERY

This week welcomes the return of Granite Kiss, Dulsea, and Sunburst!

The mamas in the barn are almost done with kidding, and the milk is flowing!
Look for goat camdenbert next week, and Mainechegoat later this summer.
Fresh batch of halloumi this week, too!
Don’t forget Kid Hugging Day at the farm, on Sunday, April 28, 11-4.
Our farm stand will be officially open for the season.

FIRE FLOWER GARDEN

Barbara says - "Still early but it's time to start serious garden dreaming and planning. Fire Flower Garden will be back May 10 with hardy perennials and lots of Dahlia tubers for your summer flowers."

go-en fermented foods

From Nick @ go-en:
"Thanks to all of our die hard vendors, braving the elements to bring you all of your market needs. Show them some support and fill up on some of those early season treats. Contrary to previous plans, go-en will not be joining the market outside this week. As you may know we make miso throughout the winter and are working hard to wrap up production before the warm winds of summer bring our work to a halt. Stay tuned for further details, we hope to join all of our other wonderful vendors by late May.  Thanks for your understanding. We miss you all and hope to be back as soon as possible.
TODDY POND FARM
Welcome Marathon!
Daughter to sweet Molly - born on Monday and thus named in honor of Heide's sister Jasmine who ran the Boston Marathon that same day. She's a little spitfire and already mixing it up with the other babies in the herd. She's our fourth heifer born this year.
Our yogurt is back on the shelves and we are working on finalizing our return date to the market - definitely the beginning of June - possibly sooner!
NEW BEAT FARM

New Beat will be at market this week with some delicious braising greens, tender with a little bit of kick. Eat them raw if you want to add a little pep to your meal or lightly sauté in garlic. They are great thrown in the last minute of any dish. We will also have some super sweet over wintered spinach. Although we’re out of roast for the holiday we will have some lamb chops and ground lamb this week!
