TODDY POND FARM
It has been an physically and emotionally exhausting week.

The current situation across our nation has us grappling with a turbulent mix of emotions - sadness, anger, relief, gratitude, guilt and frustration.
It is challenging to know which is the best way to direct our energy, to do the most good that we can, to help those who need help, as they fight for the equality that is promised them by our nation. We believe it is important to do so in such a way as to not make the message about ourselves. We can yell and scream (and maybe we do when we're alone), but we can't pretend to know. We can't pretend the struggle is our own, that our voices are on par with those who fall victim to racism, so instead we will listen and help in a way we believe will be the most effective.
Heide and I have decided to pledge 20% of our Friday market sales to the NAACP - https://naacp.org/
We recognize that this will be a token amount, but we carry the hope that collectively, if we all give what we can to fight this continued injustice in our nation, we can provide the resources to those that need them to help them win their fight. We encourage you to donate as well - either through shopping with us, or on your own.
Be well and thank you,
Greg & Heide
And why the picture of this piglet?
Honestly, this little piglet and all the other adorable cute new life here on the farm this spring has kept us sane. In a world that is so ugly at times, these innocent creatures have helped remind us that there is so much beauty and kindness and love out there. These piglets live and eat and share space together as if they were all brothers and sisters, as do our sheep and lambs, as do our cows. If they can do it....
