  • Takeaway: Four nominees - Emmanuel Albert (winner), Tinashe Muchena, George Phelan, and Riley Kerr - for the 2021 Rudy Scholz Award, which recognized the top collegiate player, declared for the draft.

2023 RWC Qualifiers: Expect a Cold Reception in World Cup Qualifiers 
  • Takeaway: Since the first match in 1977 (a 17-6 win for our northern neighbors), the U.S. and Canada have played each other 63 times. Canada has won 38 matches, the U.S. 22, though the Men's Eagles have not lost to Canada since 2013. 
  • History: Canada hosts the Men's Eagles at Swilers Park on September 4. The outcome the last time they played at Swilers Park? A 56-7 win (August 2006) for Canada.
