2014 was a fantastic year!

2015 will be even better!
2014 was a fantastic year in the world of sports and for LBB Strategies. We had the privilege of accompanying our clients in their diversified sport projects and 2015 looks even better. Here is a few exciting projects we realized in 2014. 
LBB Strategies is a sports consultancy firm that provides services in the areas of organizational performance and strategic planning, major sporting events and facilities, sports law and revenue generation. LBB Strategies is based in Montreal with offices in Ottawa and Annecy (France). 

January 2014         
Benoit Girardin teaches international sports law at the University of Ottawa.
February 2014       
Benoit Girardin is named to the Canadian Olympic Committee Mission team for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia.
March 2014           
LBB develops the strategic plans for Ski de fond Québec, Sportcom and the Fédération de Natation du Québec.
April 2014               
LBB performs quality assessment studies for the Canadian Sport Institutes in Ontario and Calgary.

Benoit Girardin from LBB makes a presentation on best practices and strategic planning for sports organisations at the Assises du sport du Quebec.
May 2014                           
LBB is appointed by the CCES and Cycling Canada to conduct a national study on doping activities in cycling.
LBB is invited to support the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in the creation of its sport tribunal.

Jo-Annie Charbonneau, LBB's project coordinator, successfully earns her Master of Laws in Sports Law from Marquette University in Milwaukee, USA. 
June 2014               
LBB’s clients, Bromont and Montreal, are awarded the rights to host the World Equestrian Games in 2018.
LBB conducts a strategic organizational audit and consultation with Canada Snowboard and its PSO’s.
July 2014                            
LBB assists two NSO’s in conducting an HR audit and managing organizational changes (governance and HR).

LBB conducts a high performance review for Judo Canada.
LBB acts as expert adviser and secures public funding and sponsorships for the 2014 FINA World Masters in Montreal.
August 2014          
LBB conducts a business study for the Canadian Curling Association on affiliation and individual membership models.
LBB secures public funding for and contributes to the successful bid of the 2017 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Montreal.
September 2014  
LBB develops strategic plans for Bishop’s University (Gaiters), University of Sherbrooke (Vert & Or) and Laval University (Rouge et Or).
LBB is appointed as strategic advisor by the Local Organizing Committee for the World Equestrian Games in Bromont-Montreal in 2018.

Benoit Girardin from LBB is appointed on the COC Governance & Nomination Committee as well as on the COC Awards & Recognition Committee. 
October 2014    
Benoit Girardin of LBB makes a presentation on best governance practices at the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Olympic Solidarity Forum in Barbados.

LBB performs sports law mandates in the areas of employment law, commercial law, intellectual property and dispute resolution for national and international sport organisations. 
November 2014   
LBB facilitates a strategic planning workshop for the Canadian Olympic Committee.
LBB assists the COC in developing its international event bidding and hosting services for NSFs.
December 2014   
LBB is appointed by the International Softball Federation (ISF) to develop its long-range strategic plan and facilitate a strategic planning retreat in San Francisco, USA.
