It's Been a Busy Week at River's Edge

First of all, we won Best Gallery in Detroit A-List.Then we got exciting new stuff for art fair next week. Finally, we have new art by Johhny Bee Badanjek and Amy Chenier! Our July show opens this month with "Hidden by the Underground," featuring Johnny Bee Badanjek and Amy Chenier. Contrived though it may sound, both Badanjek and Chenier are inspired by what’s happening in Detroit: the growth, the gentrification, the revitalization. Mixed with their great love of the Motor City is a love of the philosophical and deconstruction. The show’s title is inspired by Dostoyevsky’s Notes from Underground. Other past masters that have contributed to the show’s inspiration include Andy Warhol, Marcel Duchamp, and Claude Monet.  Join us Friday July 18th 6-10pm for meet the artists!
