What Will You Do
This Giving Season?

This Giving Season you can help your neighbors in need like Vincent, a US Army Veteran.

We're making life-changing home repairs at no-cost for neighbors like Vincent, a longtime San Jose resident who despite overcoming many difficult life situations and obstacles, still found himself in need help with critical home repairs.

You Can Change Someone’s Life With A Gift Today
Meet Your Neighbor, Vincent!
Vincent and his wife overcame so much together but still needed a helping hand. That’s where YOU come in.
Vincent and Carolyn are the epitome of the American dream. After gallantly serving in the United States Army, Vincent returned home to the Bay Area. He found a career he was passionate about as an automobile technician at Anderson Honda in Palo Alto. Vincent fell in love, married his sweetheart, and together they bought their dream home in San Jose, California.

During the financial crisis of 2008, Vincent and Carolyn found themselves behind on their mortgage, and simultaneously Vincent was diagnosed with colon cancer. Shortly thereafter, he was also diagnosed with liver cancer. Throughout the financial stress, he battled both cancers and fortunately recovered. However, tragically in 2015 he suffered a stroke which affected the left side of his body leaving him to rely on a wheelchair and making Carolyn his sole caregiver.
Navigating life in their forever home with new mobility challenges and mounting medical costs proved extremely difficult. Vincent and Carolyn had done all the right things, they had served their country, they had worked hard, they had raised a family and given back to their community. They fought back to overcome so many hurdles. But still, they found themselves in need.
We Need Your Help!
We are committed to safe homes and communities for everyone but we can’t do it without you.

Thanks to your support, we were able to make things a little easier for Vincent and Carolyn by repairing their dangerous, uneven flooring, converting their tub into a walk-in shower, installing a raised toilet and installing a wheelchair ramp to enhance the safety and accessibility in their home.

We provided a fresh coat of paint and landscape clean up, and most importantly, we were able to install a wheelchair ramp outside of their home to allow him the ability and dignity of entering and exiting safely.

Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley improves the quality of life for the people we support, people like Vincent and Carolyn who deserve to live in a safe and healthy home.

But we cannot continue to provide these critical repairs to our community without your support. This giving season, with the help of Vincent, Carolyn, and so many other deserving clients, Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley is on a mission to raise much-needed funds to provide life-changing repairs for local neighbors in need for years to come. We invite you to join us.
