Hello, welcome to JMC Academy's monthly newsletter. It's been a bumper month. Ironically, this issue seems to be centred around food! As the winter weather sets in Melbourne students warm us with their humanitarian project while Sydney recovers from both a beating of rain and one of a sporting nature. Enjoy!

Hi, my name is Josh and I’m studying Entertainment Business Management at JMC Academy in Sydney. I moved to the city at the start of the year from Maitland, just outside of Newcastle to immerse myself in the music industry and hopefully get an awesome job in the next couple of years. I’ve always loved listening to music, playing music and going to gigs, so it just seemed like a natural thing to want to work in the industry and make what I love part of my everyday life.

Alumni in Focus:
In case you missed it, co-host and Producer of the award nominated Mike E and Emma Sydney radio breakfast show on The Edge 96.ONE, Emma [aka “The tiny girl with the big voice!”] was featured in our last Alumni in Focus talking about her time as a student at JMC Academy.

Graduating in 2006 from JMC Academy’s Advanced Diploma in Music Business Management, her two years at JMC taught her to proactively tackle things head on with passion, to have fun and utilise your creativity. As Emma so poignantly puts it “Go hard or go home!”
