Adventures Along the Seafarer's Trail!

Note from Lisa:

Whether on wheels or on foot, don't miss Saturday's Downtown Mystic Spring Stroll! Want to follow Clancy (above) across the drawbridge and through Mystic River Park, where you, too, might get dog treats from the villagers? Then watch Clancy's "It's Good to be Me" video set to music.

The most common question I'm asked is if Mystic Pizza, the inspiration for the movie, "Mystic Pizza," is still serving. I'm so used to that question that when a woman pulled over in her van and yelled to me, "Excuse me," I assumed she wanted directions to Mystic Pizza. Instead, she asked, "Do you realize the back of your skirt is tucked into your underwear?"

Anyway, yes, you can still dine at Mystic Pizza. What it's like to do so: excerpt from my book. Follow the movie trail map to find filming locations.

If you are a fan of rowing (or eating a meal you didn't cook), then join the Noank Rowing Club for dinner Friday night!

The sailing season begins on the Argia on Saturday! If you get to Mystic early in the day, here is a handy list of Coffee Shops & Cafes.
