Hello folks,

2015 show news & ticket offers + CDs & tickets to be won...

Thanks to all of you that joined us for our final shows of 2014. We enjoyed four great nights in November with The Fargo Railroad Co., The Farewell State, Mordrake, Rachel Ries, Canyon Family, Ian Bramall, Wild Ponies, Grassoline, Boss Caine, Dave Woodcock, Joe Solo and Richard Kitson. It was a fine way to round off another fun year.

As you might have guessed by now, there are no WagonWheel Presents... shows this month, but our 2015 line up is coming together very nicely. Below is the full list of all confirmed shows for which tickets are now on sale:

For a limited time and in very limited quantities, we're offering some discounts on several of the above shows to you our mailing list members. These offers are only available online by clicking the respective links above. As usual advance tickets are always cheaper than paying on the door, but these discounts offer an additional saving on the door price of between £1 & £2 depending on the show.
We'll be back at Shakespeares on the last Saturday of each month next year, including January 31st which will be our first show of 2015. We'll have details on the line up for that one next time.

Also on Thursday June 25th at The Greystones we'll be welcoming back Good Lovelies. We'll have ticket news on this one next time too.

Several of those shows listed for next year are new dates we hadn't spoken about yet. Bob Collum returns with his band The Welfare Mothers to promote his brand new album Little Rock which is released in January.

Good Luck Mountain is the latest project of US singer/songwriter Mike Ferrio, formally of Tandy. Good Luck Mountain have just released their second album entitled Too. Supporting them throughout their UK tour will be Welsh folk/blues singer Jack Harris.

Making their first headline appearance will be Tomorrow We Sail. Returning after a fine set at Tramlines in July, they'll be touring the UK again in March. Joining them will be Idiot Son who are set to release their long, long, awaited second album in 2015. After a solo Idiot outing in 2012, this will be a full band performance. We're delighted to have old friends The Listeners along for this one too. Fingers crossed we'll see their album soon as well.

We're very happy to have Roger Davies returning to the WagonWheel stage in 2015. Having played our very first show back in 2006, it's been a few years since he was last with us but we look forward to hearing songs from his forthcoming new record Local Radio.

And from an old friend to a new face. US singer/songwriter John Statz makes his first visit to Sheffield in June. John will be touring new record Tulsa (coincidentally produced by Jeffrey Foucault).
The Coming Soon page on our website currently features songs from acts playing some of those early shows next year. You can take a listen by clicking here.

And so to our competition. We have a pair of CDs to give away, Jeffrey Foucault's Horse Latitudes and Amelia Curran's They Promised You Mercy. Our lucky will receive both albums plus a pair of tickets to the 2015 WagonWheel show of their choice. To enter, simply e-mail us here at wagonwheelmedia@hotmail.co.uk with the answer to the following question:

Who is playing at The Greystones on Tuesday February 3rd 2015?

Hopefully that's not too taxing :) We'll draw a winner in mid-January when we send out our next newsletter.

All that leaves is to wish you all a Merry Christmas, and all the best for 2015. Hopefully we'll see you at a show then.

Cheers
Craig
