Regatta News

Roylerow athletes made a strong showing at the opening spring regattas.

At the Sarasota Invitational rowing for Chinook Performance Rowing, Terry Walters won the Betsy Mitchell Award in the W1x. Team Chinook took gold in the W2- (Davis/Egan), M2x (Kozicz/Nash), Mx2x (Kozicz/Wilson), W8+, M8+, Mx8+, W4+, M4+, and M4x. Thetford and Dobson claimed gold in the M2- rowing on home water.
At the Heart of Texas, Elting/Tomaseski took gold in WE2x.
At the OARS Masters Invitational in Orlando Bob Johnson took gold in the M4x rowing with Sarasota County RC while Mac Nash won the Lwt 1x by a wide margin.
