  • row2k's Four Years Later: Trinidad & Tobago's Aisha Chow (June 14, 2021) In this interview, Aisha Chow, who qualified for the Olympics in 2016 and again for Tokyo, catches up with row2k ahead of the Tokyo Games. Chow is a Roylerow alumna, with Marlene preparing her training program for the 2016 Olympic Qualification Regatta and Rio Games. Best of luck, Aisha!
  • Dogwood Masters Classic, Melton Lake, Oak Ridge, TN, May 29, 2021 (results)
    • Lauren Crandall: First place in the Womens Masters 1x D (4:22), second place in the Mixed Masters 2x D-E (3:43), second place in the Womens Masters 2x AA-B (3:59.4), where Crandall subbed for a 38 year old and couldn't update the handicap! Congrats, Lauren!
    • Maria Alonsa: After a rough start in the Womens Masters 1x E-J where she was next to last at 250m, Alonsa came back strong to finish in third place (4:20.6)! First place in the Womens Masters 2- AA-C/D-J (3:50.0), rowing against only one other crew, who happened to be Purdue University varsity rowers! Congrats, Maria!

The Faster Masters Rowing Radio podcast is produced weekly. It's livestreamed to Facebook and YouTube, and also distributed in audio format to podcast apps via RowingChat.

In the podcast, Marlene and Rebecca discuss topics of interest to masters rowers, such as rowing in rough waterbalancing a single scull, and feathering correctly. They also take listener questions live and showcase what's in the Faster Masters training program that month.
