SEPTEMBER THEME

Reaching Higher

To affirm is to declare that something is 100 percent true, and to stand in that truth — even in the face of all evidence to the contrary.
Affirmation:

Faith is a verb, and it is what moves in, through and as me. My life is my amen.

Celebrate
CSL's 45th Anniversary in Las Cruces

Sunday, December 5th at 12:15pm

We are now sponsoring this area for park clean up located in Apodaca Park at 801 E Madrid in Las Cruces.  Previously, we had a stretch of Valley Drive near Avenida de Mesilla, but due to safety concerns, the city no longer has clean up crews working road ways. They now have us clean up parks and path ways. CSL chose to take on Apodoca Park and we look forward to working with folks to provide Sacred Service by helping keep this park clean. Contact the office to participate or call Amy Rohr, our member who has agreed to spearhead this project.

Trustees In Touch
August 2021

The board continues to evaluate suggested events and has decided, based on the latest information from State and Federal agencies, to cancel most activities except AA and NA related meeting. We will reevaluate each month and hope to reschedule some activities in the Spring. At this time, there is no change to the mask wearing policy. They are required when in the Center.

The board has approved a Young Peoples AA meeting to start soon on Wednesday evenings. Unity has gone back to meeting via Zoom only at 9:00am.  Board meetings are now occurring in person with masks a requirement. Any members may attend. Our next Board meeting will be September 12th at 12:30pm.

If you have any questions or suggestions for future events at the Center, please contact any board member and share your idea, and continue to read the newsletter for updates on events or go to our website and see our interactive calendar.
