Miksang Summer Institute Program in Halifax - May/June 2020

2020 promises to be a year of new experiences in direct perception for Miksang Institute students and photographers. Each year as we teach, we discover new visual exercises and ways to help students develop the ability to see directly.

Towards the end of 2019 we began to develop a new way to present our visual exercises called "Settling Into Awareness." This is a sequence of our exercises that brings us quickly into the state of mind from which non-dual seeing becomes effortless. It is a wonderful basis for direct seeing that will change how we orient our minds each day towards being open, receptive, and still in our lives and our seeing.
We hope that you all, whether new or seasoned Miksang photographers, will check out our courses in this next year and seriously consider making attending a course a priority for you. Introducing "Settling into Awareness" is a big shift in our experience of teaching and photographing and we feel it has the potential to deeply impact how we experience our visual lives.
