Miksang Tutorials and Mentoring
Focused Individual or small group tutorials are available by request for Opening the Good Eye graduates. You choose the focus, whatever you need. $250/day per participant.
Technical Tutorials: Personal instruction on the main points necessary to express your perception accurately with your camera, editing and use of editing software, and fundamentals of computer content back up.
Mac users only. $250/day.
Here is a quote from Laurie Lavine who recently came for a day of tutoring:

"I have participated in the first three classes offered at the Miksang Institute and have been delighted with the results. Contemplative photography has been instrumental in developing my perceptions so that I see the extraordinary beauty in every day objects, people and the natural world. Nonetheless, I still needed to hone my understanding of my camera in order to seal my perceptions with photographs that accurately reflect what my eye sees. Michael Wood and Julie Dubose spent a day mentoring me in coordinating f stops, ISO settings, exposure compensation and shutter speed. They also taught me about the histogram and how to make small adjustments to the photographs on the Photos app on my Mac computer. The time spent with them was well worth it because my photographs are now sharper and more brilliant. I am thrilled with the increased confidence i now have as a practitioner of Miksang photography”
