Dear All,

The sea is calm and last night celestial’s spectacle of the northern lights has given way to the bright sun of a peaceful day on the infinite waters of the North Sea.
My head and my memory cards are filled with images, and it is from the boat that brings me back from the wild land of Iceland that I come to share my latest photographic news.

BOOK « MAJESTICS »

In my previous Newsletter, I announced the release this autumn of my book MAJESTICS and the film of the same name.
Today, it is with great pleasure that I invite you to the vernissage of the book which will be held Friday October 30 from 17:30 at the Baobab bookshop in Martigny (Switzerland). This evening will also mark the first screening of the film MAJESTICS, and I will be available to autograph your copy of the book.

The book will be available on my website here and in bookstores around Switzerland from October 16th.

This book was produced with the support of Pro Natura, an important environmental protection association in Switzerland. I wish to express my deepest thanks to them here.

RENCONTRE PHOTOGRAPHIQUES DES 3 PAYS (PHOTO MEETING OF THE 3 COUNTRIES)

This year I have the great privilege to be one of the three guests of honour of this beautiful photographic event which will take place from 23 October to 8 November 2015 at the Triangle in Huningue (Alsace - France). I will present my show and my MAJESTICS conference "Regard sur la montagne" (How I see the mountains).
You are cordially invited to the opening of the event which will be held Friday, October 23 from 19:00.
My conference will be presented on Saturday, October 31st at 17:30 and on Sunday, November 1st at 15:00.

19TH INTERNATIONAL WILDLIFE PHOTO FESTIVAL OF MONTIER-EN-DER

Is it still necessary to present this famous and prestigious photo festival?
This year, to celebrate the release of my book, I have the great honour to be part of the festival as I will be presenting my MAJESTICS exhibition.
The festival will take place from November 19 to 22. I will be present at my booth the entire duration of the event and I am already looking forward to meeting you there.

2016 « SWISS ALPS » CALENDAR

My 2016 "Swiss Alps" calendar is now available. As every year, 12 panoramic photographs of our majestic mountains are waiting to accompany you throughout the year.

BOLIVIA

My friend Daniel Chappuis and I have the immense pleasure of inviting you to our next "Exclusive Bolivia" conference to be held on 26 November 2015 at the Azimut in Estavayer le Lac (Switzerland).
Backed by a video and a slideshow, we will take you travelling around Bolivia’s wilderness, in areas of amazing beauty and which for the most part remain unexplored, yet are inhabited by a delightful indigenous population.

ICELAND

Its wild and amazing landscape makes us all dream. I took a few weeks of intermission between the end of the production of my book MAJESTICS and its actual release in the bookstores to go and recharge my batteries in the vast and spectacular landscape of this unique land. This country did not fail to amaze me. I had long dreamt for the chance to capture the magic of the Northern Lights. Nature did not fail to offer me this pleasure. During this trip, a small note of concern has nonetheless become clearly apparent to me. Behind all this blinding beauty, the mass tourism currently in full bloom hides an obvious problem for the preservation of the country’s wild and fragile environment. But that's another debate. A Facebook post will soon present some of my best images of this trip. Stay tuned.
