Career & Opportunity Highlights
IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITY - TIME SENSITIVE!
Subject: Undergraduate Engineering Research Guest Speaker Invitation
My name is Pranavi Aradhyula and I am a peer advisor for Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP). As a Peer Advisor, one of my duties is to facilitate bi-weekly research seminars for first and second year engineering students who are conducting research in partnership with University of Michigan researchers. The purpose of seminars is to expose students to various aspects of research within Engineering Discipline.
The fourth seminar this semester involves a panel of graduate students, discussing their career paths and how they chose to pursue their respective fields. I was wondering if you knew of graduate students from the MIDAS (Michigan Institute for Data Science) program who would be willing to come in and talk about their graduate program, their experiences, and why they chose their career path. My seminar and I would sincerely appreciate having any interested graduate student as our guest speaker.
I am hoping to organize this on Tuesday, February 21st, 4:00-5:30 PM in 1123 LBME.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Pranavi Aradhyula
