Happy New Year!

This year there are some changes at Harcourt House Artist Run Centre we are excited to share. The Front Room Gallery will now showcase local artists' work. We are taking submissions on an ongoing basis, see our website for guidelines. We also are pleased to announce that Royal Bank of Canada is sponsoring our 14th Artist in Residence, Jill Stanton. Only two more weeks to check out Jennifer Willet's "Natural Science" (see photo above) and Riki Kuropatwa's "Collide". These shows are up until January 22nd.

Natural Science questions the hierachies between natural and unatural.

Collide explores gender, competition, speed, and tenderness through paintings of football and roller derby.

Don't miss the opening for Jay Mosher "And There a Bronze Nail Stopped the Gush of Blood and Sent it Bubbling Back Inside" and Gerri Harden "Inside Out". Both shows open January 28th from 7-10pm, and the artists will be in attendance.
