GREEN S.E.E.D.S. AND ETWINNING
The 24th of February, Maria Carla Italia, GREEN S.E.E.D.S. coordinator, Giuseppe Vanazzi and Alice Dalle from Région Vallée d’Aoste/Regione Valle d’Aosta participated to the webinar "The added value of eTwinning and Erasmus+ for remote schools" organized by Francesca Favino, USR Veneto. Another precious experience to disseminate our project and learn from other valuable experiences.

THE ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGE: HOW SCHOOL CAN CHANGE OUR WAY OF LIFE
In February, the article: Cómo la escuela puede cambiar nuestro modo de vida (How school can change our way of life) was published by the University of Vigo on the RILME website (Research Network on Leadership and Educational Improvement). It’s very interesting to see how the project activities are changing the students’ awareness and behavior towards environment.

GREEN S.E.E.D.S. THROUGH CHILDREN’S EYES
Look at this video! The children of CEIP Espiñeira (Spain) tell us what their participation in GREEN S.E.E.D.S. has meant to them and what they have learned to make the world a little better. The project is having a great success among the youngest, who are improving in their awareness and sense of responsibility. As Anton, 11, says: "Now with my parents, we take a bag with us when we go to the beach to pick up the rubbish we find. Before we weren't aware of the problem, but now that we are, we are more attentive" We couldn't have dreamed of better feedback on the project.

CROATIA AND ITALY IN DIALOGUE FOR ENVIRONMENT
Ss Vela Luka and Liceo Statale Enrico Medi in Senigallia (Italy) met on Zoom in February. The Croatian project manager, Jakica Pecotić, presented the project to the Italian students and teachers, to introduce them to its aims and contents and in order to implement the third and final phase, the presentation to city schools through Digital Storytelling. The teachers Enrico Medi, Gaia Santoni and Daniele Onori expressed great satisfaction for the opportunity and the oncoming participation. They also expressed the wish to meet in Vela Luka. This is the first, introductory meeting; our pupils’ presentation through the eTwinning live portal will take place in the next months.
We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the School in Senigallia!

ETWINNING TO CONNECT OUR SCHOOLS
Is your school interested in environmental issues and challenges? Would you like your pupils to interact with peers in other schools and Countries? Then join our project GREEN S.E.E.D.S. on the eTwinning platform!
Green SEEDS Erasmus+ KA2 project is currently looking for urban classes (pupils from primary to secondary level) willing to twin with classes from mountains and small island schools in order to work on environmental issues through digital storytelling.
Thanks to the Erasmus+ KA2 Green SEEDS project, 20 classes from rural schools (in Northern Spain, Cyprus, the island of Kios in Greece, Vela Luka in Croatia, the Aosta Valley and the Lessinia mountains in Northern Italy) have developed 20 SeedQuests, didactic insights into their social, cultural and environmental habitat in the mountains and in small islands and are now looking for urban pupils, from their same country or from abroad, who want to develop their knowledge of this engendered European cultural and environmental heritage.
Rural and urban classes will meet online on the TwinSpace, use foreign language to get to know each other, use digital storytelling to describe their experience and get feedback from twin pupils.
Challenging, isn’t it? We are waiting for you!
