A MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPALS
Greetings Ravenswood Families and Friends,
We hope you all enjoyed this beautiful taste of summer this weekend. It is weekends like these that make all that snow and rain worth it. Thank you to all of you who volunteered to make Field Day such a success this year. Whether you were supervising the Tug of Peace, filling up water balloons, judging relay races or cheering on our students we could not have pulled off this successful event without all of you. Special thanks to Mr. Switzer and all the Field Day team members whose planning and execution reached an all time high this year. Up next is our Variety Show on Friday June 1st with two shows, one at 9:15 and the other at 2:15. Both shows take place in the gym. Come show out and support our student performers!
As a reminder we are currently registering in-boundary students. If your family is not returning to Ravenswood in the fall, please inform us as soon as possible, as it helps us plan more effectively.
Though Memorial Day signifies the start of summer, we still have quite a bit of learning ahead of us! Let's finish strong with solid attendance all the way through. Our last day of school is Tuesday June 19th. We challenge every student to be here everyday on time, squeezing every last bit out of our time together before we break for summer.
Thank you all,
Mr. Manaen (Principal) and
Mrs. Welsh (Assistant Principal)

MORE ABOUT NEXT WEEK
8th Graders are Off to D.C.
The eighth-graders are heading to Washington, D.C. for their class trip! The D.C. trip will show our students how people from different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs are all part of the United States. The students will visit the U.S. Museums and National Landmarks. It's a culmination of our students' history, art, social studies, and language arts classes.
