Homecoming 2018

The Class of 2019 has chosen “HOLLYWOOD” as the theme for Homecoming 2018 scheduled for the week of September 24-28. Plans for the Homecoming activities will be finalized after school starts and will be published in the Home News and on the River Valley School District website at www.rvschools.org.

The Homecoming Parade will start off at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28. Beginning September 10, local businesses and organizations that would like to participate in the parade are asked to contact Brent Johnson at 588-2554. If your float has horses, scoopers will be required. For the safety of our children, the district asks that each float planning to distribute candy or other items have “candy walkers” rather than throwing the items from the vehicle.

In the traditional Homecoming football game, the Blackhawks will play Dodgeville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28. The Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, September 29. The Homecoming King and Queen will be announced at the Pep Rally/Bonfire on Thursday, September 27.
