Oren's update: February 2016

Dear friends,
If you're in the Northeast US, I hope you survived "Snowzilla" without too much trouble. in DC, they're still clearing snow from streets and sidewalks.

In January, I was honored to contribute a musical theme for Darwyn Dave's new podcast "Dealing With My Grief." Darwyn is a talented photographer who is actively documenting the DC jazz scene. I've benefited from many performance photos he has produced, and was more than happy to return the favor with this short composition.

I’m looking forward to joining the second Sunday band for another exciting jam, this time featuring outstanding female vocalists. Our headliner will be Imani-Grace Cooper. I'll be at the piano alongside David Bamber on bass, Mark Caruso on guitar, and Will Stephens on drums. No cover charge.
