Strategic Plan Update
GOOD WORK WELL ON ITS WAY

Work has continued over the past months to implement our Strategic Plan. Achievements in 2021 include improving our social media presence, launching small groups, and forming a service project team. 2022 will see additional strategies begin implementation.

Winter Small Groups Coming Soon
SIGN UP ONLINE OR ON SUNDAY

We had such a great response from our fall small groups! We are grateful for all those who participated, and we pray that it was worth your time. If you missed a chance to sign up this fall, don't worry. We have some great small groups beginning in January and February.

Service Sunday

JANUARY 23, FOLLOWING 10AM WORSHIP

We are planning an exciting new event, Service Sunday, on January 23. What does this mean? We will have one worship service that day at 10:00am. Immediately following, all are invited to take part in a service activity constructing “kits” for the homeless. We will need volunteers of all ages and activity levels to help pack necessity kits that can be distributed to our brothers and sisters who have fallen on hard times. Once we finish assembling our kits that day, the Fellowship Committee will host a luncheon to enjoy together.

What can you do? Drop off supplies (see list below) that we will need to complete our kits. Feel free to drop supplies in the plastic bin outside of the glass doors of the church. Please plan to join us for a morning of fellowship and service on January 23.

3-H Collects Eye Glasses & Lenses

The Members of Circle 3-H, Helping Hands bring Hope, will be collecting used prescription glasses/lenses this month.

Your Donation will benefit those in need through the outreach of the Lion’s Club of Ravenna.

Please look for the “Glasses Case” just inside the Church entry, near the coat racks.

SIGN UP TO SPONSOR ALTAR FLOWERS IN 2022

Flowers add a special element to worship, giving us something colorful and beautiful to set our eyes on during prayer and other reflective moments. They remind us of God's work in our world.

You can sign up today to sponsor flowers that will remember a loved one, honor a family member, or celebrate a special anniversary or birthday.

January Blood Drive Update

NEXT BLOOD DRIVE: FEBRUARY 9

Our January blood drive was a success with 42 units collected. This can help as many as 126 patients & has a ripple effect onto their loved ones. That’s a lot of people for 6 hours of effort! Thank you to Wanda Himmel, Kyla Errington, Patti Jaeger, & Jay Perez for their help in this community service! Our next drive is February 9, 12:30-6:30pm. CIRCLE 3-H

Circle 3-H will not meet in January or February. We hope to be together again in March, April and May. Look for service opportunities in the weekly Spire!

Sign-up to be a Greeter

This Sunday a table will be set up in between services for our members to have an opportunity to sign up to be a Greeter. This is a great opportunity to get to know people and be the first one to warmly welcome visitors.
