You can help local Cornell students...and celebrate Cornell's Giving Day (THURSDAY, MARCH 11)... here's how.
The pandemic has caused significant additional stress, and in many cases additional financial aid need, for Cornell students.  And it has impacted our ability to raise funds for our scholarship. Please help us to help local students in these tough times via Cornell's Giving Day -- this Thursday, March 11.
CU Students
As you may know, each year for over 25 years, the Cornell Club of Monmouth and Ocean Counties (CCMO) grants one or two scholarships to local Cornell students. These students are entering their senior year, have done well academically, and have a large financial aid need. Our Award lowers the student's loan portion of their financial aid package, so they graduate with a smaller loan.  In the past couple of years, we've been able to award between $2,500 and $4,000 annually.

The Club raises funds through individual donations and raffles at events. Due to the pandemic and the shift to virtual events, we're currently not able to hold raffles. Online giving is the only way we can raise funds.

Please help us help these students!  Our goal this Giving Day -- Thursday, March 11 --  is to raise at least $2,000 from 18+ donors. You can donate here. More information is available at the CCMO website.
