Fall Gardening Tasks
Make sure you give your trees, shrubs, and perennials a fall boost by doing the following:
Although we have had some relief from the summer drought, continue to water and water and water. Besides fertilizing, water will give your valuable plants the foundation they need to carry them through the winter and prepare the for beautiful spring blooming.
Fertilize your plants in late fall. (Make sure the plant has been watered or the ground is moist before applying fertilizer). Organic fertilizer is recommended. These are available at all big box stores as well as your local nursery.
Change out your haggard summer plants for fall mums, asters, and pansies. It will give you, your yard, and your neighborhood a nice boost.

Grandview Elementary Fall Festival
Come down to the Avenue Friday, October 5th and enjoy a Witches Night Out
at Shop Bellevue from 6pm to 9pm.
Enjoy this night of fun on Friday, September 28th from 5pm to 8pm. There will be games, prizes, inflatables, dunking booth, cakewalk, bake sale, and themed basket raffles. All are welcome!
Don't forget to stop by the farmers' market! The Market is open Wednesdays from 3:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturdays from 8am to 1pm in The Party Source parking lot. Click here for more details.
