Hi <<First Name>>!
Here is Olesya Radilova, co-founder of Floating EKA. I am writing the Floating EKA's October letter (better late than never) from the Poznan-Warsaw train on my way to the Creative Europe info day. I am going there to learn about new grant opportunities for our upcoming and ongoing projects.
One of these projects is Common Water, connecting artists and local communities from waterfront towns around the Baltic Sea.
I can proudly say that despite the rising pressure and frustration level all around us, the artistic part of the Common Water project was successfully finished. The last laboratory in Hamburg, with the artists Ole Meergans and Alex Hadjiev, was full of discussion, listening, and creating! As a result of the laboratory, Ole created concrete sculptures that blended into the urban landscape, while Alex composed melodies that were inspired by the sounds of the Baltic sea.
You can listen to one of the melodies here.

|
Very soon all other melodies together with the visuals, stories, memories, inspirational processes, and pieces of art collected and created in Sopot, St Petersburg, and Hamburg during the art laboratories will appear on our multimedia platform. The presentation of the platform is scheduled for December. Stay tuned!
