Hi <<First Name>>!

This September we ran our first ever Common Water art laboratory in Sopot, Poland. It was started with a workshop by fantastic artists Jacek Wielebski and Blanka Byrwa

Together with the artists, we had a thorough discussion about the Baltic sea, explored the coast, and made amber out of pine resin and plastic waste found on the beach. The artists then created an art installation that is now presented at Goyki 3 Art Incubator.

The art laboratory in Sopot was followed by the laboratory in Saint-Petersburg, where workshop participants together with the artists Farida Sadrieva and Innokentiy Ludevig-Chernetskiy explored the element of water, the Baltic Sea, and our relations with it by means of printed graphics, musical improvisations, and visual images.

The next art laboratory and workshops will be held in Hamburg, Germany. If you are there 7-8 October, sign up for the workshop with the artists or find out more on Instagram @common_water or the official website commonbaltic.org
