Hi <<First Name>>!

Sometimes we have good days, sometimes not so good. At the beginning of September, we were super excited to know that in partnership with other organisations we received a grant for our marvelous Common Water project. We had several activities in Kaliningrad, Russia, planned for 2021 and were working on final preparations. But the pandemic has changed everything. Lockdown measures have been imposed in Russia. Again.
Due to the situation, Common Water has been postponed till 2022. We are quite disappointed but remain hopeful. 😊
And this is the biggest October news. Stay tuned, we will be sharing news and details of the project once we are back on track with it.

But we do have an exciting announcement, too!

Floating EKA team is extremely happy to see Marta Bruschi as a new Board Member.

My name is Marta. I have over 10 years’ experience in the Third Sector, working with international NGOs (e.g. African Foundation for Business Development) and European Networks (e.g. Euroclio, Euclid Network, Diesis Network). I joined Floating EKA because its mission reflects my belief that art is an effective tool in addressing social issues and transform communities. Art can help people connect with some aspects of social reality in a manner that they could otherwise have not without it. I would like to be part of this journey and help Floating EKA to build partnerships and collaborations across borders in Europe to make a positive impact through their initiatives. I am looking forward to being a part of the team and work together to reach the organizations’ goals but also have fun and enjoy work in a good professional company.
