💛 Monira Residency

Monira's mission is to provide a stimulating, rigorous, and contemplative environment in which talented and committed artists benefit from a large studio workspace and the support of a vital creative surrounding community. Monira Foundations Artist in Residence Program supports mid career artists who work in any visual arts media.

💰 Selected Artists will have access to a private studio that is about 500-750 square feet.

💛 Lake Balaton Art Residency

The Lake Balaton Art Residency is the main programme of Kortàrs Alkotóműhely és Art Residency, Szólàd, organised for the first time in 2018. Their aim is to provide a high quality professional environment and a relaxed and calm atmosphere for the artists to realise their ideas.

💰 Creative Workshop, Art Mentor support, professional talks and lectures with other fellow artists, entertainment, campfire and barbecue, open workshops, and a joint exhibition.

💛 Troy House Art Foundation International Artist Residency Open Call

The residency will help the artist to develop professionally and build networks as well as provide a supportive environment for research and production. During the residency, Points will organise regular visits and networking events with art world professionals, inviting audiences to discover and access the artists' studios to foster a greater public engagement as well. 

⏰ End of September 2022

💰 1-3 months residency, living allowance of £600 per month, international travel expenses up to £500. The resident artist will receive a fee of up to £800 for the project (depending on the artist's final project proposal).

💛 Interdisciplinary Residency program by Oak Spring Garden Foundation

Each Interdisciplinary Residency session is designed to support residents who might be: artists, conservation practitioners, researchers, scholars, scientists or writers who are pursuing work inspired by plants, gardens and landscapes. The goal of this program is to provide individuals with the time and space to pursue their own creative projects alongside other residents who may be examining the natural world from different perspectives.

⏰ 27 May 2022

💰 Residents selected for a 5-week session receive a $2,000 individual grant, and individuals selected for a 2-week session receive an $800 individual grant. Residents are housed in shared accommodations for the duration of the program.

💛 Stedelijk Museum Alkmaar: Call for Artworks on the Concept of Freedom

This open call invites artists to propose a work of art that gives a contemporary interpretation of the concept of ‘freedom’. The Museum is looking for personal approaches, innovative perspectives and persuasive visions.

⏰ 15 June 2022

💰 The artists will receive a fee of €1000 and a production budget of €500 for their work.

💛 ПРОГРАМА ІНТЕРВЕНЦІЙНИХ СТИПЕНДІЙ ДЛЯ ТВОРЧИХ ЛЮДЕЙ З УКРАЇНИ 

The Cultural Center of the Old City of Warsaw has announced a scholarship program for artists at-risk. One-time intervention scholarships of up to 5 thousand zlotys are paid to artists who were forced to leave Ukraine as a result of the war.

💛 Visegrad Scholarship at the Open Society Archives

We invite historians, researchers, political scientists, sociologists, and socially engaged artists to reflect on the Lessons from the Cold War by taking cues from the Blinken OSA collections. The applicants are encouraged to reflect on the connections as well as on the differences between current times and the past by following some recommended sub-topics listed below. 

⏰ 25 July 2022

💰 grants of 2.700 euro each are designed to provide access to the archives for scholars, artists, and journalists, and to cover travel to and from Budapest, a modest subsistence, and accommodation for a research period of eight weeks. Stipends for shorter periods are pro-rated
