Annual Awards Evening 2017
Young people from across Tendring have been celebrated for their outstanding achievements at Teen Talk’s annual awards evening on Monday 27th November at the Park Pavilion in Harwich.
The awards evening is held to celebrate the achievements of young people who have taken part in various activities over the past year. The activities include the 6 week cookery course, school holiday activities, youth group Harwich Inspired Youth Action (HIYA), Wildlife Project and the Volunteering Programme.
The evening was a brilliant success which saw a number of special guests including the High Sheriff of Essex, the Mayor and Mayoress of Harwich, Chairman of Tendring District Council, Chairman of Essex County Council and local councillors, representatives of various different agencies across Tendring and friends of family of the young people receiving awards. All in attendance got to enjoy some live music by local young person Zoe Bishop and the Magic Mirror photo booth which was supplied by Dovercourt Bay Event Hire.
Project Manager Jodie Hall, ‘I feel honoured to get to work with some truly amazing and inspiring young people and all of us at Teen Talk feel very proud of them as they should of themselves.’
Teen Talk would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody who has donated and supported us over this past year including all local businesses, funders and those who donated raffle prizes for the awards evening.
