It's Show Time!

Southwest Florida’s premier boat show is back -  with more boats, and more excitement! The 41st Annual Fort Myers Boat Show at Harborside Event Center and City of Fort Myers Yacht Basin is coming Thursday, November 14th through Sunday, November 17th, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Widely considered the west coast of Florida’s must-see boating event of the year, the show will feature brand new interactive displays for guests of all ages. Additionally, the exhibit will showcase even more boats, both in and out of water, highlighting new models and innovative features. For more information about the show, click here.


Affordable Boating

Discover how easy it is to get into boating at the “You Can Afford to Go Boating” area in Centennial Park at the Boat Show. This special section will include a display of boats that can all be purchased on a budget of $250.00 or less per month. Informational signs will accompany each boat allowing visitors to gather more information at their leisure. Click here to learn more. 


Grab a Bite!

Food and beverages will be available inside the event as well as several new downtown venues. Inside is the new “Harborside Café” with food and drinks, relaxed seating and a couple of TV’s to catch weekend sports.  In Centennial Park is the popular “Everglades Barbecue” Tent.  The “Yacht Basin Concessions” overlook the beautiful new basin and features a variety of both seafood and traditional items. And right next door, the “Yacht Basin Pub” is a real crowd pleaser with cold beer, wine and cocktails.

Of course, there are are many restaurants within an easy walk of the show.  If you have not been in downtown Ft. Myers lately you will be surprised at how the area has come alive.

 

New Additions

New to the show this year, visitors will be invited to take part in hands-on displays such as the Fishin’ Frank’s Fishin’ Simulator and the Mercury Experience Tour Truck. The Fishin’ Simulator offers a true-to-life fishing experience, allowing guest to learn techniques in tangling with redfish, snook or tarpon. The Experience Tour Truck is equipped with a fully integrated joystick system and invites attendees to try their hand at gaining control of a 30 to 50 foot boat on a windy day.


 

Boat Displays

Show attendees can tour a large assortment of boat types both in, and out of the water. Visitors can check out luxury yachts and off-shore fishing boats, plus dinghies and kayaks. Resorts and marinas will also be on hand to help guests plan waterfront trips, and vendors will display the latest in boating accessories, electronics, marine financing and insurance, motors and fishing gear from manufacturers all over the world. Fort Myers Boat Show

November 14th - 17th, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
