Are you interested in volunteering in a social project in Germany? Are you motivated and at least 18-years old? Do you have at least basic knowledge in German?
The “Friends of Waldorf Education” offer international volunteers the chance to get involved in a social project in Germany for 12 months. Areas of duty are institutions for children and adults with disabilities, some bio-dynamic agriculture farms and Waldorf-educational institutions. Room and board is provided, as well as insurance, accompanying seminars and pocket money. But the volunteers have to pay for their own travel expenses. Good basic skills in German are preconditioned!
For the voluntary service starting in February 2013, please APPLY NOW (application deadline is the End of July). For more information please visit www.freunde-waldorf.de/en or send us an email: incoming@freunde-waldorf.de.

Rio+20 Voices from Africa: Lessons Learnt

Enoch Nyatiti Raymond (Nigeria-Federation of Young African Greens): „Future global consultations need to be people-centred and focused on the needs of the citizenry. The youth need to actively engage their national policy makers to shape the progressive commitment to Sustainable Development.“

Rose Wachuka (Kenya Young Greens): „Sustainable development is a value informing the values and principles of governance in our country. It is firmly rooted in Article 10 of the Kenyan progressive Constitution. Global commitment or not, Kenya Young Greens will foster the realisation and protection of this value for the sake of the present and future generations.“
