Dear <<First Name>>
Welcome to our February 2016 Newsletter.
This caravan will be available for holidays from the 19th March 2016 and it is for PACT families where the child is off treatment or bereaved. Families may go more than once but only go once in the school holidays (this includes Easter, half-terms, and summer) and priority is given to families that have not been before. The cost of the caravan is £100.00 per week plus a further £50.00 which will be retained as a bond against any damages or losses, this bond will be refundable on return from your holiday when the caravan has been checked and the signed inventory returned to the PACT office.
This caravan will be available for holidays from the 19th March and it is for PACT families where the child is still on treatment; however families may only go once. If a family wants to go in the first year of treatment they must first check with their consultant to make sure it fits in with treatment. The cost is £50.00 per week plus a further £50.00 which will be retained as a bond against any damages or losses, this bond will be refundable on return from holiday when the caravan has been checked and the signed inventory returned to the PACT office.
If you are interested in booking either caravan for a week's holiday (weeks run from Saturday to Saturday), please contact the PACT office after the 7th March. We will need to know your name and contact details, which caravan you wish to book, your preferred dates and also whether or not you have any other holidays booked through the hospital/other charities. When we have sorted through all the requests we will contact you with a confirmed booking.
Thank you to everyone has helped us so far with raising funds for the new oncology and haematology clinic. The ongoing total is shown on the Appeal Justgiving page and also in the clinic and as you can see we now have 44 % of the money needed. However, we do need to keep the fundraising going if we are to reach our target by 2017, so we all need to keep up the good work!
Christmas Party and Bowling
We hope everyone who came along enjoyed the bowling and the party, though we know there were a few issues around the late change of the party from Sunday to Saturday due to SWFC's home match on the Sunday.
Please note that although we are trying to book the Christmas Party for the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of December this year, the date and venue of the party haven't been confirmed yet so look out for further information in our next Newsletter. The Bowling will be on a weekday night at the end of November or beginning of December.
