Dear <<First Name>>
Welcome to our May 2016 Newsletter
First of all can we just remind people that the PACT Office is open Monday to Friday between 9.00 am and 3.30 pm and if you need to contact us about any trips, events, fundraising, booking rooms at PACT House etc please either telephone us on 0114 272 4570 (there is an answering machine) or email us on firstname.lastname@example.org
. Please do not
use Facebook or Beryl's mobile number (especially out of office hours).
Clinic Fundraising News
We are one year in and have raised half of the money needed for the new clinic so a big thank you to everyone who has helped us get this far. The total on the Justgiving Clinic Appeal page
is updated monthly so you can follow our progress there and on the display in clinic.
We also now have a Supporters Wall on the PACT website
. The different sized bricks are priced from £100 to £1 and when you buy a brick you can add your name, a message, an icon, company logo or photo. It would be nice to see the whole wall full !
It has been great to see how many people are supporting our appeal and we hope that this time next year we will be reporting that the target has been reached.
PACT Annual General Meeting
The AGM is open to all PACT members and will be held on Monday 11th July 2016 at 6.30 pm
at The Quadrant
where parking is available. If you wish to attend the AGM could you please let us know in the PACT Office
by the 27th June
as we need to inform the venue of the numbers before the night.
The AGM is an opportunity to meet the Trustees and hear about PACT's current and future activities. The annual accounts are presented and explained and the Trustee Committee is voted in for the following year. The meeting is quite informal and refreshments are supplied too.
If anyone is interested in becoming a Trustee, please contact the PACT Office for more information and a nomination form. Meetings take place approximately every two months at The Quadrant. Any nomination forms should be returned to the office by the 27th June and should there be more nominations than places available on the Trustee committee, a vote will take place at the AGM.
Update on past events

– This took place on the 1st May and even though the weather wasn't as good as it could have been, £655.00 was raised. Thank you to everyone who came along to support us and admire the beautiful garden and also a big thank you to the bakers for their delicious cakes.
– As we write this Newsletter we are in the middle of final preparations for the Ball which is to be held on Saturday 21st May. All the profits from the night will be going towards the Clinic Appeal and in the next newsletter we will let you know how much was raised.
