CAMP TC publishes Committee Specifications

Cloud Application Management for Platforms (CAMP) 1.1 defines the artifacts and APIs that need to be offered by a Platform as a Service (PaaS) cloud to manage the building, running, administration, monitoring and patching of applications in the cloud. CAMP Test Assertions 1.1 precisely defines the conditions required for an implementation to conform to the spec. Congratulations to CAMP TC chair, Martin Chapman of Oracle, and to representatives of Sponsors, Cloudsoft, Fujitsu, NetApp, Oracle, Red Hat, Software AG, US Department of Defense, and to all TC members for accomplishing this milestone.

Open Building Information Exchange (oBIX) enables mechanical and electrical control systems in buildings to communicate with enterprise applications. Five OBIX specifications comprise this public review, which ends 24 Dec.
