: This year we have awarded a scholarship fund to the Community Arts Norristown
(CAN). CAN is a non-profit art center that offers a full range of art, music, dance, yoga, computer, sewing and culinary classes for children and adults. Many of the participants are in need of scholarships so CAN is very appreciative of our contribution. For more information, contact the director, firstname.lastname@example.org
: Some members have inquired about posting on our website and/or Facebook (FB). There is a vetting process involved, so please send any requests to me at email@example.com
. (Do not simply respond to this email as it goes to the webmaster). Personal exhibition information would be posted on FB, and participatory calls to artists would go on our website. If deemed appropriate, I will forward to either Daria Nawrocki for our website or Radhika Srinivas for FB.
Whew, we have had quite a busy year. I hope you can come to our luncheon to celebrate another year of art, take some time to visit with one another, and enjoy a nice meal and demonstration by Golden representative Roy Kinzer.
In closing, “Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time”.
Thomas Merton, “No Man is an Island”
Hope to see you soon. Bev Kratzel
