CCLBA Bi-Weekly Update | July 27, 2016
TROLLEY TOUR RECAP, PROPERTIES FOR SALE, & WELCOMING A NEW MEMBER TO OUR TEAM!
Thanks to everybody for planning and organizing the trolley tour of the Auburn-Gresham neighborhood, as the turnout was absolutely terrific! Over fifty people turned out to brave the summer heat and tour five CCLBA homes immediately available for homeownership! Many thanks to U.S. Bank and the Greater Auburn Gresham CDC (GAGDC) for all of their hard work and participation, as both were terrific partners.
This was the kick-off event for the CCLBA's homebuyer program as we are looking to soon have a number of properties available that will be reserved exclusively for homeowners. More properties will be added soon, so stay tuned! To view more pictures of the event, please click here for more information.
As always, the Land Bank has a number of homes that are currently available for purchase; please click here for a spreadsheet of all inventory or visit our website for general information & more CCLBA news.

The following includes important guidelines and procedures that the CCLBA would like every prospective homeowner and developer to know who wishes to do business with the Land Bank.
- Properties must be professionally redeveloped within 12 months of sale in accordance with local municipal building codes and procedures. Rehab process will be supported with periodic monitoring in order to ensure compliance. Quality of craftsmanship will will impact future transactions.
- CCLBA places a soft mortgage on the property to prevent selling without redevelopment. This mortgage will be released prior to the sale to homeowner provided the rehab has been completed.
- CCLBA does not provide financing for the purchase or rehab; however, CCLBA can make a referral to resources that will provide technical assistance & financing.
A one-page pamphlet can be found here, and we encourage everyone to visit our website or call us at (312) 603.8015 for more information on how to engage with the Land Bank.
