Dear <<First Name>>,
This is a very important update and we would love for you to SUPPORT US IN PRAYER.
After returning to the village at the end of February, Jakob started meeting with the village chief and elders concerning the start of the Bible teaching. Afterwards my co-workers left and I was on my own in the village for 5 weeks but they returned just over a week ago. Finally, this weekend the leaders accepted our offer to start the Chronological Bible Teaching this WEDNESDAY and SATURDAY. We had hoped to do the teaching several days a week in one village before moving on to another village. However, there was some miscommunication and now we will be teaching on Wednesday in one village and on Saturday in another village. We are praying that this can be changed in the future. This is very exciting but at the same time such a new reality and huge responsibility. My co-workers Jakob and Lina have been working hard at developing the Bible Lessons and working on the Bible translation for the past several years. Everything is not yet finished but we have enough developed to start this phase.

Sunday evening, we walked around the village to personally invite people to come to the teaching on Wednesday which would be held outside. We will be sitting on mats and stools.
Please pray that the logistics would be worked out. Also pray for us as a team since we are only 3 people. Our other co-workers are yet to return as they are still seeking out health solutions.
This is a very busy time in the Wey village and other villages with lots of sacrifices for the dead and it is also still Ramadan. Please be praying that many people will be motivated to come to the teaching. We tried to find days that most people will be available.
Join us in praising God that we are finally at this stage and that the Wey People will hear God's word chronologically. It is going to take us many months to get through PHASE ONE of the teaching.

Please look out for more weekly/bi-weekly updates as we make progress through the teaching so that you can be praying for us and the people specifically.
Additionally, for security reasons we have decided to refer to our people group as the Wey People in Guinea. Please refrain from referring to them as the name previously mentioned in other communication.
Also DO NOT post any of this information online. If you have posted or shared previous communications with our people group's name or specific location, please take it down if possible.
