Peter Thompson: currently IIE Executive Vice President and former IIE Board member (will provide Opening Remarks); Mr. Thompson was previously a private investor and Chairman of Jaypeco Partners, having retired from PepsiCo in 2006. At PepsiCo, Mr. Thompson held positions in general management and finance, including CFO of Latin American operations, Treasurer overseeing the PepsiCo's international expansion and management of risk, VP Finance of Pepsi North America and General Manager of PepsiCo's business in Central Europe and Russia. Mr. Thompson also worked on Wall Street with J.P. Morgan and as an aerospace engineer with the UK Defence Department.
Cathy Martine, President, AT&T National Business; As one of AT&Tâ€™s highest ranking female executives with P&L responsibilities, Cathy Martine leads one of AT&Tâ€™s largest business units, serving approximately 95% of AT&Tâ€™s business customers in the U.S. With over 7,000 associates in her organization, Cathy is responsible for direct and indirect sales as well as the distribution of business solutions for customers ranging from start-ups to Fortune 1,000 enterprise companies.
Javier Arreola, Investment Banking Executive, GF Inbursa; An alumnus of the Goldman Sachs Global Leaders Program, Arreola possesses multi-industry experience after working in construction and engineering, as a research assistant at the Brookings Institution in Washington D.C., and now in asset management at the second largest investment bank in Mexico.
Jessica Kuntz, Consultant, Deloitte; an alumna of the Department of Stateâ€™s Fulbright U.S. Student Program Research Grant to Croatia and the National Security Education Programâ€™s Boren Graduate Fellowship to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kuntz impressed both public and private sector employers with her advanced critical-thinking skills acquired through her immersive experiences abroad.
Dumitru Coretechi, Financial Analyst, GE Power & Water; An alumnus of the GE Scholar Leaders Program, Coretechi utilized his training and experience with the company to secure a full-time position after graduation. With internship experience in the U.S Embassy in Bucharest and Finance Management at Vest-Resurs Ltd, Coretechi boasts international business experience in Romania, Moldova, Hungary, and Finland.
