All Jamaicans and friends of Jamaica are welcome to become a member of this very dynamic diaspora organisation. We create various opportunities for Jamaicans to meet and network for their individual growth and development as well as establishing initiatives to facilitate the growth of the Jamaican community.

Our focus is to target both young and old Jamaicans born in Jamaica and Jamaicans who were born in the UK, USA, Canada or EU so that we can support them to make that connection with Jamaica so that they too can contribute to Jamaica's development.

We also offer a bunch of membership perks so if you pay for membership you will be able to access these. Sign up for free or subscribe.

Advice on visiting the Elderly

The government advises that, by the weekend, groups particularly vulnerable to Covid-19 - such as those over the age of 70 - will be asked to stay at home for 12 weeks.

If you are visiting an elderly relative for an essential purpose, you should "keep a bit more distance, preferably at least 1m [3ft] apart, no kissing and hugging, sadly, and those hand hygiene practices are incredibly important", says Caroline Abrahams, charity director at Age UK.

Jamaicans Inspired is formally thanking all of the NHS staff members that are working on the front line in hospitals and health centres around the country to try to ensure that people get home healthy and safe.

Our prayers and support is there for all of our members that are in the national health service in the UK we appreciate you very much!
