Join the Future of Synergy!
Dear Synergy Community,
This past November we wrote to let you know the exciting news about Synergy's inclusion into Missio Alliance.
In just under 2 months Missio Alliance will be holding its 2nd North American Gathering, Being Truly Human: Re-Imagining the Resurrectional Life.
This promises to be an incredible and formative event with over 60 leading voices helping to shape conversation around some of the most pressing issues facing the Church in our day in plenary, forum, and workshop sessions.
Within that, we are thrilled to have a number of Synergy women speaking and leading in a number of different contexts.
Judy Douglass, Lesa Engelthaler, Jacky Gatliff, Carolyn Custis James, Natasha Sistrunk Robinson, Halee Grey Scott, Nikki Toyama-Szeto, Nicole Unice & others.
In addition to all the spaces for learning and conversation in the main gathering, we also want to extend a special invitation to 2 exciting sub-gatherings - INCLUDING BREAKFAST!!
FRIDAY, 7AM AT DOWNTOWN BAPTIST CHURCH...
Synergy Women's Network & Missio Alliance - Envisioning a Blessed Alliance of Men & Women Serving Together
SATURDAY, 7AM AT DOWNTOWN BAPTIST CHURCH...
Women in Missional Leadership: Discerning Needs & Exploring Possibilities Together
NOTE: No registration is necessary for this sub-gathering, but space will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Missio Alliance is committed to advancing the voice and contribution of women as leaders in God's mission alongside men. Especially with the inclusion of Synergy into our ministry, we sense the time is right to put increasing amounts of thought and energy behind this aspect of our work. But how exactly?! We have been having conversations, have commissioned research, and are actively praying for God's direction in this regard, but we're anxious for your insight and input as well. We invite those who share a passion for this issue to join us in dialogue over breakfast as we look toward the future together.
We're so excited to have many of you join us at this conference, and these sub-gatherings in May! Please forward this invitation on to friends and colleagues who may be interested in being part of these important conversations!
