The Sydney boat show ended on a high earlier this month with a big thumbs up from both visitors and exhibitors. That’s the last of the Sydney shows’ split over two locations and next year sees whole show reunited back at Darling Harbor with the indoor section located at the sparkling new, Sydney International Convention Centre and the in-water component adjacent at Cockle Bay.
This week is Brisbane’s turn with the Brisbane Boat Show this coming weekend 19 – 21 August. This year the show returns to the fabulous Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre in South Bank, with public transport on the doorstep and 4,500 parking spots on site and at nearby stations only minutes away from the venue.
In Victoria, the tall ship Tenacious made a grand entrance in to Port Phillip and is now berthed at Seaworks in Williamstown. This will be her base for the next few months as she embarks on an action-packed agenda, including day sails, round trips and longer passage voyages to and from, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart, and Sydney. See more details below on how you can be a part of the crew with socially inclusive adventures, including dedicated berths for disabled crew on this unique wheelchair accessible tall ship.
And up in Hamilton Island, they’ve set a new record for the number of boats competing in Race Week up there with 252 yachts entered for what will be a fabulous week of racing.
