Technology is moving so fast these days, information is available in a multitude of formats and similarly, we all like to get our information in different forms, often dependent on what we’re looking for, and when.

At Shipmate we get it! That’s why we deliver information and marine news directly to you, across a number of platforms. Online, in print and now, our latest innovation - Shipmate TV.

We’re producing a series of short, interesting and informative videos that we’re putting up progressively on our website, in a dedicated Shipmate TV section. More than just ordinary videos about marine products, or ‘How-To’s’, we’re going behind the scenes and getting the details about the people behind those products and services and many have an interesting story to tell.

Check out the first of many at www.shipmate.com.au/video/ and make sure you check in often as we’ll be adding to the collection regularly over the next few weeks.

In South East Queensland, the latest, free, 136 page, print edition of Shipmate Marine Directory, is out now so make sure you pick up your free copy, available from shipyards, yacht clubs, chandleries, boat sales outlets, marine organisations and selected marine businesses.

In Victoria, we’re just ramping up to start production of the next annual Victorian print edition, so if you're a marine business with a current listing, please visit the website and make sure your details are listed correctly as we’ll be downloading this information soon. If you’re interested in finding out about advertising, please ask us and we’ll send you details

And before I go, just in, our latest figures for last month showing shipmate.com.au recieved over 46,000 visits in June and over 200,000 page views. That's great feedback for us, shows we're on the right track and providing the boating community with what they want. Our thanks to all who visited.

Finally, another wrap up of marine news from around Australia in this edition, so sit back, browse through and enjoy the read.

Cheers, see you out on the water

John Zammit
