18 December 2020

Our last Shipmate News for 2020, in a year that no one could have predicted and one that I never thought I would ever see the likes of in my lifetime.

There's been a lot of pain, angst and anxiety around the country, but there is light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully we'll all get back to some sort of normal very soon.

The interesting thing is that spending over the last few months is on the up and with overseas travel out of question for most, our money is being spent right here in Australia which, in the main, is a good thing.

And boating is booming around the country with many new entrants to the pastime finally realising how good a lifestyle it is, especially for all the family, let's hope that continues for as long as possible.

On that note, we here at Shipmate are taking a break and we're going boating. We'll be back on 01 February with our first edition for 2021.

We'd like to wish you and your families all the very best for Christmas and the Holiday Season, stay safe and we look forward to communicating with you again in the new year

Cheers, see you out on the water

John Zammit
