Welcome to the October mid month edition of Shipmate News and around the country there's a hive of activity in the boating world... That is except for Victoria of course, where the harsh stage 4 restrictions are taking a heavy toll on individuals and business, including boaters and the marine industry.

Hopefully there's some light at the end of the tunnel with our Premier expected to make some announcements on Sunday.

In this edition we've got news on new model releases, industry milestones being reached, infrastructure spend by government, advances in technology and sailing news. So sit back, browse through and enjoy the read.

Cheers, see you out on the water (soon i hope)
