While the rest of the country gets on with (a Covid normal) life, Victoria is still subject to severe restrictions. And while restrictions in Regional Victoria are starting to ease, no such luck for Melbourne, which is still at Stage 4.

And while some of the restrictions have been slightly tweaked (not that you'd notice) Melbournians are still living under what's been described as some of the harshest restrictions imposed anywhere in the world.

While it's obvious that restrictions are needed to get the numbers under control, many are questioning the severity of those restrictions and the benchmark set by the Government for the easing of restrictions and, even whether those numbers are achievable.

If they are, then what is the acceptable cost in terms of collateral damage, not only to the economy but to peoples sanity and general well being. I sincerely hope we can get the numbers down, I've already got lockdown fatigue... And, i've got to wait another 6 weeks before i can see my grandkids or take them boating.

As for the rest of the country, it seems boating is booming, see the details below.

Cheers, See you out on the water (eventually)
