DAFWA support PinG WA workshops

As of this month Department of Agriculture and Food WA and Partners in Grain signed an agreement for DAFWA's financial support to secure the delivery of 14 PinG workshops up until 30 June this year.

Partners in Grain WA (PinG WA) are very much looking forward to working with DAFWA. It’s fantastic that we can work together for a common goal, that being to strengthen farm businesses and rural communities throughout WA.

DAFWA’s support makes a huge difference to the opportunities we can provide to WA farmers. We continually receive requests from farmers for PinG workshops to be held in their local area. Our partnership with DAFWA dramatically increases our ability to meet this demand.

The voluntary work of PinG’s WA Reference Group, made up of growers throughout the state, should also be acknowledged. It is this group that helps identify training needs specific to farm businesses, works to ensure the content is relevant, training is affordable and now helps bring it to local communities. It is a credit to them that DAFWA sees the value in their efforts.
